Annika Jermyn Portfolio. Profile. Contact.
Well hello there
I am a web / graphic designer happily based in Brooklyn NY, originally from Finland,
and a big fan of Ireland, where I lived for 10 years.

After graduating from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin I worked for fashion designer John Rocha for two years mostly as an illustrator.

Since then, I have been working as a freelance designer often with clients directly, creating exciting projects such as the Search and Restore website archiving some of the most wonderful jazz and improvised music in New York. I've also worked on many print projects for various fun clients including Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Not For Tourists etc.

Most recently I have had the pleasure of working with a very nice design studio called Flyleaf Creative, with delightfully inspiring clients such as St. Ann's Warehouse, International Festival of Arts and Ideas and Debby Brown.

I have also created a fun small business making teddy bears out of re-purposed shirts under my own label as mrs Jermyn. They have been featured on wonderful blogs such as SwissMiss, Design Milk, Ecouterre, Daily Candy and even the New York Times.

I am quite good at Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat and Keynote.
I know some HTML and CSS, basic Javascript and JQuery, and even a little bit of PHP and MYSQL, although I'm most certainly not a developer.

I confess to being slightly obsessed with Lego.
